Also known as Caucasian Fir. This is the most established and reliable of the needle-retaining varieties, at it's best and most consistent when grown from Ombrolaui seed stock. It has quite large, gentle, rich green foliage with a silvery underside. Much research has been done and it can be regulated for leader growth. This, combined with a good, soft pruning regime gives a regular and full shape. Reasonably scented, its foliage grows from the top of the branches and tends to have a bare trunk.

Our three main grades are:

Premium (pictured top right) - This is our biggest selling tree, and the one your customers will ask for.

Deluxe (pictured bottom right) - The creme de la creme! Specially selected for outstanding shape.

Value - Exactly what it says - a real value for money choice. A more open tree than the premium grade, but a top choice for competitive pricing. We introduced this grade last year with great success.
